Broad-based Black Empowerment Law
South Africa has a broad-based black economic empowerment (BBBEE) government policy which aims to advance and enhance the economic transformation and participation of previously disadvantaged individuals. To establish a legislative framework for the implementation of this policy, the Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment Act was promulgated in 2003.
